Glassboard private social networking app to shut down on Nov. 1 -- AppAdvice

Last month, Glassboard received a minor update that the team behind the app noted as “our last release before we shift our focus to iOS 8 and the new iPhone 6.” As it turned out, though, it was going to be the last release ever.

That’s because Glassboard is set to shut down on Nov. 1, 2014.

Launched in August 2011, Glassboard was an app that offered boardroom-like privacy for social networking among coworkers, friends, and family members.
