How valuable has social media become to the success — or failure — of South Jersey businesses?
“Very, very valuable,” according to Les Vail, CEO of the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce.
So valuable that the chamber is hosting a forum later this month called “Blurred Lines: How One Post Can Change Your Life.”
Vail hopes the Jan. 28 seminar at Auletto Caterers in Almonesson will educate business owners to the value and the dangers of social media sites such as Facebook, Yelp and Instagram as more and more consumers take to those sites to offer their opinions and feedback.
“Social media is here to stay,” Vail added. “When it’s done right, and done with a plan, it’s a great marketing tool. And it’s affordable.
