SUMMERSIDE — Nancy Beth Guptill called it a distributing yet prevalent trend on social media, a way for youth to get “instant stardom,” but for the wrong reasons.

Guptill, a social media expert and owner of Sweet Spot Marketing, said fight videos spread fast on the Internet, which is why she isn’t surprised a video of an alleged bully attack outside a Prince Edward Island high school has received millions of views.
