(RNN) – The only thing Paul Rosolie got Eaten Alive by Sunday night was Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites.

Rosolie was the star of a two-hour Discovery Channel special, called Eaten Alive, in which he attempted to track down a 25-foot anaconda so he could be swallowed by the snake while wearing a special suit built for the occasion.

The program kicked off Discovery’s “Mega Week” and will re-air Saturday with an additional feature, Eaten Alive: Behind the Bite. The description of the program on the Discovery Channel’s website said, “naturalist and wildlife filmmaker Paul Rosolie enters the belly of an anaconda in a snake-proof suit.”
