Social media continues to cast a shadow over Millennials

Social media is now a major part of people’s lives and Millennials are continuing to feel the effect that it can have on finding and keeping a job.

George Mason University’s (GMU) Student Government recently removed Storm Paglia, their Executive Undersecretary for University Services for Dining Services, over tweets he posted that were deemed offensive.

The tweets voiced opposition to Virginia legislation that would grant in-state tuition to undocumented students. Paglia referred to the undocumented students as “illegals” which sparked concern in GMU’s Student Government.
