ZergID: a social network for MMO gamers

A social network specially catering for MMO players has entered its public beta phase – calling on gamers to join.

ZergID has been in development for two years and aims to help players keep in touch with their online gaming friends outside of the game itself.

The social network allows you to search for other players using their character names. You can also choose just how much information you want to share (i.e. your real name, other accounts, etc).

ZergID also comes with the ability to create guild pages.

“Guild pages are easy to set up, require zero maintenance and, unlike other tools offered for guild communication, all the social network’s features are completely free,” Zerg Inc. said in a press release.
