NEW YORK— Mail.ru Group, the Russian internet company that has lost half of its value this year, is poised to surge almost 60% after acquiring the nation’s biggest social network, analyst estimates show.
London-traded shares of Mail.ru climbed 2.8% to $22.51 on Monday, trimming their 2014 plunge to 50%. The Bloomberg index of the most-traded Russian companies in the US added 1.5% to 72.07. RTS stock index futures expiring in December fell 0.8% to 103,370 in US trading hours.
