A woman doctor is among the Malaysian jihadists fighting with the Islamic State militants in Syria, police say.
The 26-year-old physician is married to a Malaysian man who is a member of the militant group, according to state-run Bernama news agency.
It quoted police counter-terrorism official Ayub Khan Mydin as saying the doctor was very active in social media trying to recruit Malaysian women to join the jihadists.
