The 31-year-old rapper took to Twitter on Friday to defend the cover art for her next single “Anaconda,” in which she’s wearing pink g-string and, well, not much else. While the scandalous shot made waves on the Internet (and even became a trending topic on Twitter), it seems that some are not too pleased with the racy pic, and apparently, Minaj received a flurry of angry tweets and Instagram comments in response to the image.
